These methods comprise of non-invasive screening tests possible to be carried out on every pregnant woman in order to determine the risk of giving birth to a child with chromosomal aberration (Down's syndrome, Edward's Syndrome) and an open neural tube defect (ONTD).
One of the special assets of the diagnosis we propose is a very convenient way of performing them. These tests are done using the DRY BLOOD METHOD. The pregnant woman's blood is deposited on specially designed stripes of tissue paper. After the tissue paper is dry, the diagnostic material, along with a personal data file including basic personal information necessary to estimate the risk, is sent by mail for evaluation. The method we propose allows collecting a blood sample during a regular visit in your office or clinic without the necessity of the pregnant woman having to come personally to our clinic.
